Attorney Fine focuses on complex civil and criminal litigation.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Fine was a trial attorney at the Defender Association of Philadelphia where he litigated over 200 criminal trials and successfully argued hundreds of pre-trial and post-trial motions. At the Defender Association, Mr. Fine served as a mentoring attorney to junior trial lawyers, participated in attorney training sessions, and served as guest lecturer and moot court judge to University of Pennsylvania law students. In 2008, Mr. Fine was promoted to the Office's Major Trial Unit, where he represented indigent criminal defendants charged with the most serious, non-homicide felonies in both judge and jury trials.
Prior to entering law school, Mr. Fine worked as a program manager for a technology company located Cambridge, Massachusetts where he oversaw the operational expansion of the company's international telecommunications network.
During law school Mr. Fine worked as a summer law clerk at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia (PDS). He also practiced law as student attorney in the law school's criminal justice clinic and served as executive member of the Moot Court Honor society. In his final year of law school, Mr. Fine was appointed to serve as voting member of the law school's faculty appointment committee.
Mr. Fine received his BA from the University of Rochester, and his J.D. cum laude from the American University Law School. He is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
